Summer is an excellent time to experiment with new weekly activitieswith your churchfamily. People have taken time off from work and are hoping to have a little fun while they are doing so. Why not introduce them to some new, exciting, and intriguing weekly activities that will help them form relationships with one another while also having fun themselves?
Additionally, in addition to the preparations that will be required for each event this summer, keep in mind to take advantage of all of the technology available to you in order to both promote your events (emails, text messages, social media) and record and catalog who attends what events in your churchdatabase so that you can follow up with them based on their interest in future activities. Using your church database to the fullest extent possible in this manner can assist individuals in church leadership in getting to know and truly understanding parishioners on a deeper level than they otherwise would.
